For his family, I feel sorrow for, and offer my condolences. For the Haditha Marines he slandered, and for the veterans of the Long War he defamed, and for the honor of the Corps I’ll leave it at good bye to bad… May the world forget he ever claimed the title United States Marine.

Even though I disagree with 99% of Murtha’s politics. I must respect hium for being a solid pro-life democrat. Many democrats run as pro-life to win the blue collar votes, then change to satisfy the party’s leadership.

Exactly. The only people with unkind words or exploitative motives are the liberals.

Nothing like a dead comrade to bring out the fight in them:

- John Murtha
- Ted Kennedy
- Paul Wellstone
- Bobby Kennedy

All their deaths were immediately exploited for whatever leftist cause was on the block at the moment. It’s also worth noting that all of them failed.

Their memorial services remind me of a Hamas funeral/recruiting event.

If someone challenged me to go out and find an unkind partisan thought out there somewhere, at this point I’d have to report back no-can-do. Wouldn’t even know where to look. The landscape certainly looks a lot kinder and gentler compared to, let’s say, when Rush Limbaugh had to go in for surgery to install his hearing implant. Ah…that is, if you discount the lefties huddling to try to figure out how to move health care forward without Murtha’s vote. It’s scrolled off Memeorandum by now.

Hope he passed away in slumber, without pain.

Exactly.

But isn’t it interesting the reaction of the Left? “OMG, we have to face another special election and may lose another seat in Congress!”

To be expected I guess, afterall this is the party of the children.
