This may be the worst story I’ve seen in a while.
I’m curious if Obama would back the mother up on this one, being a supporter of letting abortion survivors not get any medical attention and be left to die and all.
At least one politician is willing to take on the abortion and feminist lobby and have this loophole closed. The Attorney General, Ken Cuccinelli, is supporting the bill. This bill has no reason to not be signed into law, none whatsoever. But since this is apparently not the first time that this has happened, it’s a sad commentary on how rabid the abortion and feminist lobby is. Feminists are so insane over abortion, that anything that makes them feel even remotely threatened gets them to start hyperventilating. It’s bad enough that there’s not even protection for babies who are actually born. I fail to see how being born, yet still attached by the umbilical cord, means that the baby is not a separate being and therefore, can be murdered by the mother with no consequences.
Care to enlighten us, Jessica? I’d really love to hear the feminist take on this.

Seriously? But really, what is the significant difference between this and abortion? Is it because the state receives money to perform abortions? Maybe this will show up on her income tax…
This is exactly the type of “slippery slope” dilemma that legalized abortion breeds. This woman’s actions are completely indefensible, as are almost all abortions. Killing innocent human beings cannot be justified by size, level of development, environment, or degree of dependency.
It simply boils down to the old “why can’t a man commit murder too?” derivative. I can’t walk down the street and pump a few rounds into someone who inconveniences me because their umbilical cord has been cut.
A woman still has a “right” to do this.
