As if Obamacare won’t be bad enough, the Democrats are looking to make it unrepealable. Sen. Jim DeMint brings it up in this video:
The unconstitutionality of this is staggering. Congress is not allowed to make a law which binds future congresses. What Reid has basically done is make it so that entering legislation to amend or repeal Obamacare (if it passes) would be out of order. Future senators couldn’t even introduce legislation. Article I, Section 5 of the Constitution, meanwhile, says:
Each House may determine the Rules of its Proceedings, punish its Members for disorderly Behavior, and, with the Concurrence of two-thirds, expel a Member.
I’m no constitutional scholar like Obama, but I’m pretty sure the Constitution does not allow one Congress to have more authority than the Congresses that follow. Harry Reid has sold out everything that America stands for with this. Americans should be outraged — and grateful that there’s at least one patriot, Jim DeMint, willing to stand up for our Constitution. God knows it seems like he’s the only one.

I don’t see how the Supreme Court does not rule this unconstitutional. Heaven help us if this becomes law
And to think we fought the British for much less than this. How our elected members can trample the Constititution and only 1 stands up for it is beyond me. This is how Fascists gain control, if they do this now what will stop them from future actions?
More and more, with this Congress, I’m reminded of Orwell’s book “Animal Farm”. Pelosi, Reid, Obama, pigs all!
I glad his wife got messed up in that wreck. Maybe she can attest to the current health care system. Oh wait , they are also exempt from the very rules they are forcing onto us. How can any rational human see this for anything other than it is. Socialism, plain and simple. Open your eyes America.
