Obama called this shooting “deplorable” and said, “Whichever side of a public debate you’re on, violence is never the right answer.” This is extremely ironic, considering that abortion itself is one of the most violent acts one can commit. There are massive amounts of resources and an entire industry dedicated to convincing people that violence against the unborn is the right answer…and Obama is their champion.

Let’s see: Dr. Tillers murder was proof of a rising wave of rightwing hate, spurred on by conservative “hate radio”, and proof that we need to crack down on, and censor anti-abortion speech.

Now that we have exactly as many politically motivated assassinations of anti-abortion figures this year as pro-abortion figures, what does that prove? Rising leftwing hate? We need to censor leftwing icons who espouse hatred of abortion protesters?

What’s worse about the liberal non-response is that hate crimes are their pet crimes. This is clearly a crime motivated out of religious animosity and political hatred, yet the Left is silent.

While I certainly do not endorse this silly business of making into extra-for-real-this-time-crimes things which are already clearly criminal, I would love for pro-lifers and conservatives to talk about this as a hate crime. Aside from the joy I would get from the kick in the liberal chops, it would demonstrate to the (sigh…) mushy independent crowd that hate crime laws can be used for a variety of purposes, not all of which fit the intentions of those who passed them.

I know we are going crazy protesting against Abortions; however, have we lost the reason why abortions are being considered???? It’s called “Sex” and most of these are out of marriage…this is what we need to be discussing in order to stop putting the band aid on abortions…then we will see less of them taking place…Please, let’s talk more about Abstinence…
