People are scared. They’re scared of what Barack Obama’s government run health care plan will do. And Democrats know that they’re scared. They’ve employed multiple tactics, from smearing critics and skeptics as an angry mob, to calling them un-American, to setting union thugs on them. Ironic, isn’t it? This was supposed to be the new era of Hope and Change. The Democratic Party is supposed to be one of peace and virtue. Yet they’re obviously not against a little physical violence if it shuts up the idiots who oppose their plans, and they’re obviously not for an open exchange of ideas. The last eight years, it was all FREE SPEECH! and DISSENT IS PATRIOTIC!, but now that the tables have turned, it doesn’t hold true anymore. Dissent isn’t patriotic anymore, and free speech is only allowed if it’s nice, comfortable speech that goes along with what Democrats want.
And while Obama can’t afford to sink that low — he just lets his Democratic lowlings do that for him as they visit their constituents — he is still using a rather famous Obama tactic: lying. That’s all Obama ever does. If people get suspicious about what he’s trying to accomplish, he merely lies about it, and usually badly. Take the stimulus package. Initially, it was pitched as an emergency package that would save the economy and not only stop the unemployment rate from rising too high, it would also create jobs, and because of this needed to be passed right away. When it clearly didn’t work, and the unemployment rate rose to 9.5%, a 26 year high and also the fastest rise ever, he just lied. He said that the stimulus package was never intended to save or create jobs, and that it was a “two year plan”. This was a ridiculous lie, and one that anyone with half a brain and an ability to use YouTube could figure out. That didn’t stop Obama from lying, though, did it? And now, he’s doing the same thing with his government run health care sals pitch.
At Obama’s townhall on his health care plan in New Hampshire, he said that he wasn’t talking at all about a single payer plan, that he’s never advocated a single payer plan.
Unfortuately for Obama, this lie is easily debunked simply by using YouTube, something that he apparently cannot comprehend. See, we aren’t supposed to use things he’s said in the past against him.
Of course, we mustn’t point this out, or the White House will STRIKE BACK! They’re even asking Americans to rat each other out to the White House at flag@whitehouse.gov. And as Ed says,

And you know that’s not a bad idea. How brilliant would it be if the inbox was flooded with tips about Obama himself? Why don’t you go ahead and send a tip to them about Barack Obama, 1600 Pennsyvlania Avenue, Washington D.C. with a link to the YouTube video where Obama advocates a single payer plan. That should cause some delightful reactions.

I HAVE HEARD THAT THE POLITICIANS HAVE THE BEST HEALTH CARE IN THE WORLD. THEY PAY NOTHING AND GET EVERYTHING. WE SHOULD HAVE THE SAME AVAILABLE TO US OR MAYBE, JUST HAVE THE POLITICIANS PAY FOR HALF THE PREMIUM JUST LIKE MOST OF US DO. HOW MUCH MONEY WOULD THAT SAVE THE GOVERNMENT??? HOW ABOUT THIS – WITH THE MONEY THAT WOULD BE SAVED BY POLITICIANS PAYING HALF – APPLY THAT TO THE MEDICARE AND MEDICAID SO THE RETIRED PEOPLE WOULD NOT HAVE TO STRUGGLE WITH PRESCRIPTIONS AND DR BILLS AND HAVE MORE IN THEIR SS CHECKS!!!
I DON’T UNDERSTAND ALL THIS STUFF BUT I THINK WE ONLY NEED A FEW GUIDELINES FOR THE HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANIES, NOT A MAJOR OVERHAUL. LEAVE THE INSURANCE COMPANIES COMPETE AMONG THEMSELVES TO GET RATES DOWN AND GOVERNMENT SHOULD STAY OUT OF THIS PROBLEM.
WE HAVE THE WELFARE PROGRAM (WHICH COULD USE A MAJOR OVERHAUL) THAT SHOULD BE USED FOR THE LOWER INCOME.
ALSO, PEOPLE THAT ARE NOT U.S. CITIZENS (ILLEGAL ALIENS) SHOULD HAVE NO BENEFITS OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER! – IF THEY DON’T PAY TAXES AND CONTRIBUTE, THEY SHOULDN’T RECEIVE ANYTHING!!

Can you imagine what would have happened if Bush/Cheney had this report to the White House thing? The democrats would have gone bat bleep crazy and called for impeachment hearings. Unbelievable.
Cassy I have been asking the same questions since the disgusting term teabagger first hit. Why is it so wrong for us to question Urkel? I honestly had no problems when the left protested the war on terror, Bush and all the rest of the things they hit the streets for. There were boundries crossed as seen in Portland OR and San Fran. But the people responsible were never even given a ticket.
But now we are hitting the streets for what we feel is right and suddendly we are unpatriotic or racists? No one on the left can answer my question of why that is.
I have also asked if Bush was even half as bad as the press and so many people made him out to be why wasn’t he impeached? The last 2 years of his administration we had a democrat majority. Yet no impeachment procedings were started. Why is that? It could have been drawn up and passed in hours yet…
Bush was accused of so many things yet not a shred of hard evidence or even charges brought against him. Why is that?
Back in 2000 Bush took over when the economy was down. Yet he never once pointed a finger at Clinton. The economy recovered fast and the US enjoyed low taxes and low unemployment for years.
Now we have Urkel. Spending is at a record high. Not only the amount but also the speed in which it is being spent. No one is questioning this at all. We had the DHS list of right wing extremests, not the flag bull where people can report on eachother. this was also something Bush was accused of yet never proven. Here is Urkel doing it and no one bats an eye.
I am thinkful I am living in Germany right now. As I see the country that I have served, fought for and bled for turn in to 1984 makes me sick to my stomach.
I’ll be home for Christmas. And as I always do I’ll be just outside the gat to Ft. Lewis handing out coffee and thanking soldiers. If there is one I’ll attend at tea party protest. I’ll be hitting hard on old friends to come with me. Put the remote down and get the word out.
