That the person works for a magazine that mixes soft core pornography with leftist poltics is also worthy of note – in that it sounds a bit like a Flemish version of Playboy.

The Playboy Empire supports rape – as long as it is the rape of conservative women of course. It also plugs Chinese propaganda films (recent ones – not 1950′s ones) about how well American Korean war P.O.W.s were treated by the Red Chinese, and how much nicer Mao’s China (Mao – the worst mass murderer in human history) was than the evil “oppressive” McCarthyite U.S.A. (by the way see M. Stanton Evans “Blacklisted by History” for the real history of the Senator for Wisconsin.

Why do the leftwing porn merchants ally with Islamic radicals who would ban porn? Simple enough – they do not think that far. All the left are concered with is death-to-the-West, they will ally with anyone (anyone at all) in order to achieve this objective. And what happens then? They do not really think about that.

Just like one cannot assume that all Muslims are terrorists one cannot assume that all Leftists are sympathetic to Muslim extemists who kidnap and rape victims. I think the general tone of this post is that the Left does this. We don’t. What happened to this woman is horrible and while we cannot know exactly what she went through one would assume she has problems because of it.
The Taliban should be either destroyed or imprisoned. Many on the left [even Al Frankin] supported the war in Afghanistan. We support war against Muslim extemists when it is warranted – Afghanistan was while Iraq [at first] was not. Although once it started you had to finish the job….
But too we on the Left have trouble with generalizations such as all Arabs and Muslims think alike or all of them support terrorists. They do not.

Ms. de Rijke sounds like a total moron. She deserved exactly what she got for being so mind-numbingly stupid. You just cannot stop people like that who absolutely insist on acting so imbecilic. BTW, this rape stuff happens pretty regularly in the Scandinavian countries that host Muslim populations. Western women in Europe are routinely called “whores” by groups of Muslims. Their idea is that they’ll rape the Western women so that they keep their Muslim women pure. On a side note, Europe will be 25% Muslim in another decade or so. This isn’t going to get any better.
