I don’t know about gay politics, but I do know that Miss Prejean was entitled to her opinion, and Perez Hilton used her as a scapegoat.

I am a supporter of gay married– in the eyes of the state. I don’t think any church should be required to marry someone if it is against their beliefs– even heterosexual couples that are two different ethnic groups if that is what they believe. But there is a separation of church and state, and until the right has a single non-religious reason that gay marriage shouldn’t be allowed we have to regard this as a NON-RELIGIOUS issue.

My point– don’t cry for freedom of religion and then impose your religious restrictions on others.

If you call Perez Hilton anything remotely close to an “intellectual titan”, there is something seriously wrong in your brain. Period. This is not an opinion, it is unassailable truth. Only someone who is deranged or deeply retarded could ever say that.

All this stuff with Carrie has really pissed me off.
Before this, I really didn’t care one way or the other about the whole gay marriage issue.

This, on top of the backlash against Mormons with prop 8, has made me a permanent enemy of the gay advocacy organizations. They showed their true face, and it was hideous.

I still don’t really care about gay marriage, but I’ll fight against it (and anything else the gay lobby tries for) out of spite.
I have no sympathy for anyone who would use these people as spokespersons.

The funny thing is: Who was it who injected politics into the Miss America pageant? Was it Miss Prejean? No, it was Perez Hilton. He’s the one who brought up the subject of gay marriage. So if pagaent officials are so upset about their show being politicized, why aren’t they attacking Hilton? Why aren’t they declaring that in the future such questions will be off limits, and that it was a horrible mistake that they hadn’t thought to do this before?

Could it be … I gasp at the very thought … that they have no problem with injecting politics into their pagaent, as long as it’s the right kind of politics? Or rather, as long as it’s the left kind of politics.

Is this clod listening to himself? He’s “drawing some line and saying that one belief is better than the other”, but criticizing someone else for doing the same thing? I wonder sometimes how LLLs manage to get out of bed and get dressed w/o inflicting serious injury on themselves.

At what point does political speech of this type become sexual harassment? I am pretty sure that, in a work setting, Perez Hilton would have already violated Carrie Prejean’s civil rights. You can’t badger and call people names at work based on their sexuality, why can Perez Hilton do so as a judge in a contest? Are not his statements concerning his motivation before and after the famous confrontation self-incriminating? Are there no lawyers in California that crave a bit of TV time? First I’d heard…

Maybe feminists don’t care because this woman is getting too much media attention. I’m wondering why people won’t let this chick be. I however don’t agree with her opinion on gay marriage but I don’t think we should be bashing her in the media either. You should just let her die out.

I’m more of a natural guy when it comes to breasts. There was scene in LA Story when Steve Martin grabbed Sarah Jessica Parker’s boob and the following exchange ensued:

“Your breasts feel strange.”

“That’s because they’re real.”

Frankly, they’re her boobs and she can install a Nike Air pump in them for all I care. And I’ll bet that the Olberdouche would install one in his weenie if given the chance. That wouldn’t make me mock his intellect. The fact that he opens his mouth on a regular basis gives me plenty of opportunities to do that.
