[...] So, the facts are indisputable. There was a ball called the Salute to Heroes ball that every other President since the ball’s founding has attended, and Obama broke that streak. And he did it to attend a whirlwind of other balls where he got to rub shoulders with celebrities, politicians, and big money donors. Yes, he also attended the Commander-in-Chief’s ball, where some members of the military were present. Whether you look at this as snubbing the military or not is a matter of opinion. I can tell you outright that my opinion is that Obama should have sacrificed one of his other celebrity-filled extravanganzas so that he could have the time to meet with the best and bravest heroes among us — especially considering it’s not the first time Obama’s snubbed the troops.
But what's the point of meeting Obama and shaking his hand if you don't have a pic to show for it; something that you can show to your grandchild one day and say "look Jimmy, this was just before He parted the waves and then did the whole turning water into oil thing"?

The troops would only have been disappointed at not being featured on the news while He was healing their wounds. The media only have so much time to spare, after all. Unfortunately they have to be balanced, which means giving as much time to McCain's campaign as to Obama's.

You wingnuts will hold Obama to blame for everything. I bet it's only because you don't like Persons Of Color.

"Someone please explain to me again why it is that Obama is so appealing. And I don’t want to hear the words “hope”, “change”, or “Bush” mentioned once. I want to find a substantive argument for why Barack Obama would make a worthwhile leader for this country."

Is that crickets I hear chirping?
