Jay at Stop the ACLU gives us a video showing the delicious hypocrisy and lies in the Obama campaign, this time concerning the Obamamessiah’s position on the surge. VERY snortworthy.

You know, it really isn’t possible to live out your life this way, year in and year out, professing that ALL things in life are futile save for democrat party objectives (diminished reward for people who do much, enhanced rewards for people who do little or nothing, steeper cap gains tax, steeper death tax, steeper carbon tax…more voting fraud…on and on and on) — without a deep and meaningful impact on your world view.
Like The Borg say “resistance is futile” — democrats seem to say EVERYTHING is futile. Scooping up all the violent criminals off the streets and locking ‘em up. Securing Iraq, or at least keeping it from falling into the hands of terrorists. Marrying yer daughter up to a decent dude, and cooling her sexual appetite up until then. Giving your kids a quality education. It’s all futile, futile, futile.
When it comes to making ordinary people into a sort of walking dead, suddenly these people chipper up and have all kinds of boundless ambitions. Guns and gun violence gone. Everybody makes the same wage, or close to the same wage. And we’ll unplug our coffee pots until there’s no more carbon in the whole atmosphere than you’d find on a couple slices of burnt toast.
Such a weird dichotomy. Pardon the ramble, Cassy, but this drives me nuts. These are the people who see “shades of gray” in things. But when they figure out what’s possible and what isn’t, so they can condescendingly lecture the rest of us about it, it seems they don’t believe in “gray” things at all. It’s absolutely all of one, and absolutely none of another.
Just ain’t natural.

There. I expounded elsewhere. I feel much better now.
These people are whacked. It’s their idol that said “the only thing we have to fear is fear itself” — seventy years later, they have become what he was talking about. They live on fear…and they’ve become the only thing of which we really need to be afraid.
Obama is lying? No…
