Today’s news that Senator Ted Kennedy has a malignant brain tumour is, if nothing else, a surprise. Although Kennedy is understandably keeping the details private, the diagnosis itself and the reactions of his Senate colleagues leaves little doubt bu….

But I truly wish him the best, and my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. From what I gather this diagnosis is pretty much a death sentence, as pretty much the only treatment is removal of the tumor, and that this one Sen Kennedy has is inoperable.

I hope he uses what time he has left to re-connect with family, and to come to peace with his life.

Good luck Senator. From what I hear, you really do need it.
