Wait, did I say mature, peaceful, and patriotic? Make that foul-mouthed, violent, America-hating, military-despising, close-minded protestors in Berkeley. See some great catchphrases, hear some wonderful insults being tossed around, and watch as a mob of people chase two Republicans away yelling “Hit them!” and trying to start a fight.

They should be thankful We aren’t as tolerant as they.
After all, we’re gun owners. We would have, were we like them, simply shot them some time ago…
“This is what a police-state looks like”? Yeah, I think they might have missed a day of notes.
I keep thinking about generations of men who died on battlefields from Bunker Hill to Shiloh to Somme to Iwo Jima to Fallujah. Brave soldiers, airmen, sailors, Marines. To stop dictators from imposing control over what was said and thought by everyday people.
And some exercise that freedom by screaming hateful things about the military. Considering that groups such as International ANSWER are funded by the Workers World Party, which in turn is funded by the North Korean government…this isn’t surprising. The video is correct; they are indeed communists. Free speech for me, but not for thee, and all.
Though they reminded me not so much of Bolshevik revolutionaries as an angry Islamist mob such as one would see in the streets of any Middle Eastern country in a moment of anti-American hysteria.
Somewhere, this country’s enemies must be smiling. It’s more beautiful to them than anything Ihmanutjob, Castro, Chavez, or Kim Jong-Il could have dared hope for.
